Hi! My name is Rebecca and I have fallen in love with capturing the essence of a moment. I love that it is my job to create images that are authentic, artistic, and that capture the couples true nature. I love getting to know my couples and families. I believe love is the center of everything beautiful and I love learning everyone’s unique story and getting to know them on a more personal level. It helps me personalize our sessions and anticipate those fun and sweet in between, perfectly imperfect moments. Thats what I want to capture. I want the fun, quirky, nose scrunching, playful moments. I also want to capture the intimate ones. I believe my job is to represent the little memories and moments that got you where you are, as well as create new ones while we are together. My approach to any session or wedding day is to capture the true essence of who you are together and make sure that it is documented for those who come after you to see and feel it too.
Where it began and who is Nhiya Kaye?
I fell in love with photography when I lived in China for 6 months in 2009. The people there were full of authenticity and each face filled with a different story to tell. Armed with only a simple point and shoot camera I found a passion for telling an entire story with one frame. I came home and have continued to learn and perfect the art. I am located in Queen Creek, Arizona but I am available and love to travel! My photography is named after my daughter Nhiya Kaye (said N-Hi-yah). Her name means light and purpose in Arabic, which is part of her heritage on her father’s side. My name, Rebecca Johnson, was just so generic that any way of using it in my business was not a possibility. So I went with the next best thing, my daughter and inspiration for my art.
I would love to capture you and your loved ones to tell your unique story of love and life in a authentic, artistic, and timeless way. I would love to hear from you! Feel free to contact me at the contact tab at the top of the page or email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
